I graduated from Saint Louis University in 2003 with a major in communication technology and was an intern in the entrepreneurship center all four years while at SLU. I’ve been an active part of the internet technology industry since 1999, when I built my first website for a friend of my fathers and I worked on a number of the SLU websites while there.
Since then, I have embraced technology and immersed myself in the aesthetic and functional qualities that make a great digital experience. Throughout my 14+ years in the web industry I have gained a wide range of experience including; product strategy, UX design, project management, wireframes and requirements development.
In 2002 (my junior year at SLU), I founded Roundthird, a software creation company, and the publishing company of two mobile gaming titles, Pixel Press and Radial 50. Radial 50 launched in July 2009 on the Apple App Store. Between the lite and paid version we reached over 30,000 users in its first month and we’ve reached more than 100,000 users since it launched.
Most recently, I launched a Kickstarter campaign for Pixel Press, an iOS and Android app that lets you draw your own video game level (no code required) and share it with others. Pixel Press is up on Kickstarter now.
Starting in 2010 I joined Coolfire Solutions, where I’ve been working with large and small companies to develop interactive and product strategies across web, software and mobile. My first project with Coolfire involved managing the marketing and development efforts for Reconn, an integrated mobile & hardware platform for testing satellite communication hardware. Recently I’ve played a role in developing ViewPoint, a mobile Microsoft SharePoint reader and was responsible for the launch of the latest Coolfire company website.
I currently live in the Lafeyette Square district with my wife, Ashley, daughter, Katherine, and dog, Tycho. My involvement in the St. Louis community includes membership on the Friends of Arch Grants board and co-teaching an entrepreneurship course at SLU.
