In 1998, Cassandra launched her company, Kelly Mitchell Group, Inc., after several years working for Boeing in technology consulting. Kelly Mitchell Group, Inc., which offers information technology staffing services and outsourced business solutions, has recorded revenues of over $40 million and has grown from 3 employees to over 450, and from a local St. Louis company to a national organization with offices in Minneapolis, Chicago, Columbus, Newark, San Ramon, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and Seattle; and over 35 service locations nationwide. She has garnered major contracts with AT&T, Anheuser-Busch InBev, Ameren, Cargill, Cardinal Health, General Mills, Monsanto, and Target Corporation. In 2008, Entrepreneur Magazine and the Women Presidents’ Organization ranked Kelly Mitchell Group, Inc. as one of the 50 Fastest Growing Women-Owned Businesses in North America.
In 2009, and for the sixth year in a row, Kelly Mitchell Group, Inc. was named one of the Largest Information Technology Consulting Companies in the metropolitan area by the St. Louis Business Journal. Additionally, their annual revenue resulted in a ranking as the 5th Largest Local Women-Owned, and the 7th Largest Diverse Company in the state of Missouri.
Cassandra is active in professional and civic organizations and serves on the St. Louis Regional Commerce Growth Association and Women’s Business Development Council of Chicago. She is an executive for the American Heart Disease’s Go Red for Women campaign, United Way’s Women’s Leadership Cabinet and is also a volunteer for WINGS (BJC) and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.
