Adrian Glass | The Post Sports Bar & Grill

I graduated from Saint Louis University in 2004 with a major in Accounting and Marketing. After graduating I passed the CPA exam and worked as an auditor for Deloitte for roughly a year and a half. I realized fairly quickly on however that I wasn’t deeply intrigued by the world of audit. Therefore utilizing my marketing and accounting backgrounds I began working on a business plan for a fantasy sports bar as I’m heavily involved in fantasy sports and had yet to see a bar/restaurant use this angle as a concept.

In the Spring of 2009 I opened The Post Sports Bar & Grill. The New York Times and Washington Post would both call my the concept ‘The first ever fantasy sports bar’! Our first store is located in Maplewood and In three short years we’ve won accolades from many major publications in Saint Louis:

CNN – Top 100 Sports Bars in the USA
STL Magazine – Reader’s Choice Best Sports Bar in STL
STL Magazine – Editor’s Choice Best Sports Bar in STL
Sauce Magazine – Reader’s Choice Best Sports Bar in STL
Sauce Magazine – Reader’s Pick STL Top Sports Bar
Riverfront Times – Best Sports Bar in STL
Riverfront Times – Best Fantasy Sports Bar
Metromix – Best New Bar in STL
Fox 2 News – Best Sports Bar in STL

From a marketing standpoint we specialize in all things fantasy sports! Check out our website ( for all the details. We serve excellent food with Baked Wings, Pizzas, and cheesesteaks being our specialties (The blackened tuna is a diamond in the rough as well) and pride ourselves in providing an inviting yet energetic atmosphere which allows our guests to feel as comfortable as if they were at home.

I’ve been personally invited by the National Nightclub Media and Promotional Group to serve as one of their keynote speakers at their national convention in Las Vegas on how to successfully promote and operate a sports bar.

I commend the faculty at SLU for the education I received while entrenched in my studies. I’ve forged many lasting and indispensable relationships since my Freshman year in college which have greatly assisted me in my quest to follow my dreams. I love eating, I love fantasy sports, I love sports, and I love running a business, so at the end of the day it only makes sense that I open and own the first ever fantasy sports bar!
